Once Upon A Time (Part Two)....

As we return to our story many days later, there is not much to report that we have not already heard, kind reader. The Court Jesters have continued to make motions and have those motions scorned by the courts, the King and Queen are still suffering more anguish than any parent should endure, the Princess' beloved has continued to deny her sustenance of any sort, and the townspeople have continued their outcries for humane treatment for the Princess. The Princess continues to fail more each day without any food or drink--and today is day 10.

One of the towns women cried out today, "The Princess can swallow on her own and she can make sounds in an effort to communicate that she wants to live (Ah waaann) --even in this weakend state. How have we become the kind of people who dismiss this life so offhandedly? Is the Princess not a woman whose life just might be worth living until it comes to a more natural end? Is there no chance that the Princess' beloved is erring in his and his new family's own interests?

Why does not a single townsman put forth a citizen's arrest for those who are starving the Princess to death, thereby sending them to the local dungeon until the full truth be revealed? Is not the Princess thinking, "Oh my beloved lord, why hast thou foresaken me?" (To Be Continued....)
