Al-Jazeera Nixes US Mexican Border Documentary

Al-Jazeera has reversed itself and will not produce a documentary that would have functioned as a blueprint for terrorists and illegal aliens to enter the US through Mexico.

WorldNetDaily reported today that, "Al-Jazeera planned to launch the series this week with coverage of a Phoenix rally by the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, a volunteer civilian border-watch group that has attracted international media attention.

Reporter Nasreddine Hssaini, the Washington, D.C.-based Al-Jazeera reporter behind the series, said he wanted to go to Tombstone and interview leaders of the Minutemen and others. But the network canceled the project after Minuteman organizer Chris Simcox refused to cooperate and then notified the Border Patrol and members of the state's congressional delegation about Al-Jazeera's plans.

U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., noting that Al-Jazeera has been known to broadcast messages from the al-Qaida leadership to terrorist cells around the globe, was among those who expressed outrage about the planned broadcast."

I consider this a victory for WorldNetDaily and bloggers everywhere. Congratulations! I'd say we still ought to keep an eye on Nasreddine Hssaini, if he heads toward the Southwest or Mexico. Full story can be found at link just below.

Last Night I Had A Dream About Us

Last night I had a dream about terrorists crossing our borders in massive numbers, then setting up networks around this country-- including safe houses a few miles apart all over THIS COUNTRY--exactly as Saddam and al Zarqawe have done in Iraq. In my dream many of these terrorists plotted independently to create chaos with simultaneous detonation of random car bombings IN THIS COUNTRY's major cities! And then one day, they did--in 5 major cities around the USA! And while we were reeling, devastated, but still glued to our precious TV sets, they then kidnapped Americans on American soil. They beheaded those they kidnapped, videoed themselves dragging the bodies around the streets, sent the videos to the news media, and then hid from authorities in their safe house network all around THIS COUNTRY. HELLO! Can anyone hear me? This may have been my personal nightmare, but keep in mind that the jihadists have announced repeatedly what they want is to see all Infidels dead! (And, sweetie, honey, baby, sugar, you might not think so, but YOU are an Infidel to our enemy.)

We all watch the news and some of us can even connect some of the stories we hear broadcast. We all listened recently when it was announced that Zarqawe and Osama again directed their followers to take this war to USA soil. Last night, it was my nightmare, and I awoke terrified. But at least it was just a dream and it was not too late to wake up. I know some people will believe I've gone around the reality bend when they read my words. I can hear an incredulous, "Are you serious?" as I write. Sadly, yes, I am serious.

When I look around, I see the increase in "sleeper types" in my area. You want me not to notice, don't you? You want me to say that noticing a large influx of ethnic faces never in my area before makes me racially predjudiced, don't you? Well, I see the border issue and immigration ignored by this administration. I see us pretending to be politically correct so as not to offend anyone--even illegal aliens. I see our troops abroad fighting the enemy while too many of our citizens at home are still convinced we are only in a police action against criminals, instead of in a world war against terrorists. And I see the same fools wanting to give our prisoners of war and detainees defense lawyers, as though they were citizens of our Country. During a war! When in history did any country give prisoners of war lawyers to defend themselves at any time, much less during the war???? I see our network media intimidated into political correct--and even sympathetic--broadcasting of stories about our enemy. I see our own Congressmen and Senators undermining our troops at war with self-serving speeches. I see a court system that ignores the Constitution and reinvents justice in its own convoluted image. I see a public educational system that brainwashes our children with an untrue history of our very own Country with both omissions and inaccuracies that further its own political agenda. I see the same educational institution doing the same with current events. I see a nation of parents willing to defer to strangers to raise their children, letting them establish their values, standards, and sexual orientation. I see a whole bunch of people who have been intimidated into accepting passively whatever crapola the liberals of the ACLU and Move On.org ilk blast into their living rooms through agenda-setting advertisements on their TVs. I see a nation that, instead of concentrating on providing equal opportunity to all races, nationalities, and both sexes, defers in almost every instance to the whims of any and every minority. I see our churches handing themselves over to organizations that want them impotent and powerless. I see a nation of ostriches too self absorbed, dumbed down, and afraid to look around themselves and think about what they are really seeing. I see a nation asleep at the wheel while careening toward an embankment at mach speed.

Once upon a time, I couldn't even color outside the lines much less think independently, so I have to believe that, if a person like me can add up the various clues that surface in my dreams and my waking life, there are others who are doing the math too. You'll have to believe me when I tell you, I've never said anything like this before these posts, but today I see some very frightening signs of what's to come. If you think I'm joking, you'd be wrong. I'm too serious.

The National Council of Churches Goes Bonkers

On July 4, Independence Day, the despicable National Council of Churches plans to join those who, are putting our armed forces in jeopardy and undermining our War effort, by making a call-to-action statement against the War On Terrorism!

I swear I am not making this up! Read the complete news release, then see if your church is a member of this now worthless council. Mine is. And now I have decided that I am going to reroute all my contributions to local special ministries at the church. Luckily, we do still use old fashioned offering envelopes and this is still within my power. I do not want one dollar to go to a council which thinks it’s a good idea to get involved in politics by undermining our military efforts of winning the War On Terror. Imagine calling our War effort a "dishonorable war" while our loved ones are fighting for freedom on the battlefield! It's inconceivable to me. If I ever doubted that evil begets evil exponentially, I no longer do.

So, guess what ELCA and NCC, many others will probably join me in my desire to not fund your organizations. And, if the organizations have a problem with our requests, we can, if we have to, find new places of worship. By the way, I happen to be an active member of my Church Council and this is not an action I am taking lightly.

Today’s news, which I heard on Dennis Prager’s radio show, actually makes me sick to my stomach. Here we go again with public self-flagellation and self-hatred. Things are going badly, indeed. Things are going badly with all the sedition and treason found at home, not things on the front in Iraq. Now what I need to know is, who exactly has kidnapped and taken hostage our churches, and how do we get them back? Check my Links for contact numbers for the Officers and Staff of the NCC. "Al Jazeera Goes After Our Open Borders
The Arab TV news network criticized by the new Iraqi government and others for its anti-American bias and willingness to carry the messages of terrorist organizations, including al-Qaida, is headed for the U.S.-Mexico border to document how easy it is to enter America illegally.

Al-Jazeera has contacted Minuteman Civil Defense Corps leader Chris Simcox to try to arrange interviews. Simcox, who rejected the request for cooperation with the TV network, says al-Jazeera, seen by millions throughout the Arab world and elsewhere, is producing an hour-long documentary news special on lack of security at the U.S. southern border.

Al-Jazeera reporter Naisser Hssaini mentioned the increase in apprehensions of illegal aliens known as OTMs – other than Mexicans. These foreigners increasingly include Arabs, Muslims and others from the Middle East. The reporter also mentioned his familiarity with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement police of catching and releasing OTMS – particularly those not specifically known to be on any terrorist watch list.

“The group has been denied requests for interviews by Minuteman Civil Defense Corps organizers but they still insist on filming the groups’ activities along with the rest of the media during a July 4th weekend mission near Arivaca, Arizona,” said Simcox.

Simcox has contacted the offices of Arizona’s two Republican U.S. senators – John McCain and Jon Kyl – to invite them to do interviews with al Jazeera, “so perhaps they can explain to the viewers of this news outlet just how secure America’s borders really are.”

"It's NOT An Insurgency!"
If any phrase makes me crazier than, "The insurgents....," I don’t know what it is. This morning I put Fox News First Edition on--because I didn’t want to hear the local news about fires, rapes, and murders of little children--and Kiran and Brian were talking in their intro about Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld’s appearance discussing the War on the Sunday news shows. If they used the word insurgency once, I bet they used it 20 times to describe what’s going on in Iraq. Yet every time someone is arrested in country, his name is abu somebody or other and he might be in Iraq, but he came there recently from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Jordan or some other nearby country.

Now, just imagine, if a person from a neighboring country, say Mexico or Canada, came to the USA and organized his terrorist followers to set off a series of car bombs to protest our election and/or its process. Say he chose our Capital, Washington, DC, and other major cities, for his followers to set off these bombs, at police Stations, schools, and restaurants, killing our citizens, our visitors, our police, and our children, and interfering with our transportation systems, and our other infrastructure.

How would we feel about it? And what would we call those people? How would the NY Times, the LA Times, the Washington Post handle the news coverage of the murderous acts these invaders committed against our Country and its people? Would you expect them and people around the world to call the perpetrators, American insurgents? Come on guys, let’s start saying what we mean and meaning what we say. People who commit these kinds of acts are terrorists. The terrorists we are running into are jihadist terrorists. Let’s start calling them what they really are.

Wesley Pruden, editor in chief of The Washington Times, in a recent editorial told the following story. "A radio interviewer asked Don Rumsfeld recently whether Chuck, Ted, and Dick, the panicky old women of Washington, are right that all is lost. 'On the political portion of it, that's obviously not the business of this department,' he said, 'but I can comment on it ... the election was held January 30. It took a number of weeks to put a government together. Not a number of years, but ... a group of people, with no experience in democracy at all, took a number of weeks ... a few months, to put together a government. ... This is amazing. This is historic. This is a gigantic step forward. This ought not to be dismissed or trivialized. This is a big deal. Can I guarantee anything in life? No, I can't. No one can. It's their country.' "

Pruden, added, “Our grandfathers, pressed down by the news of disasters from North Africa to the Philippines and all across the South Pacific in the winter of '42, would have cheered news like this as sent from Heaven. But this is not your grandfather's country. What a bunch of spoiled brats we've become. We don't deserve the men and women we've sent to destroy the jihad.”

I came upon some additional information in Wikipedia regarding the term "insurgency." It further defines the word and the circumstances under which the online encyclopedia advises one to use the term. I still disagree with its current popular usage because I see no acknowledgement that the terrorists in Iraq do not hail from Iraq, but instead are from other countries. They came to Iraq set up their terrorism shop and organized their terrorist organizations. Here's the Wikipedia definition. Wikipedia has a good point, though, as far as the definition's appropriateness since there is not yet a constituted government and since there is a military presence (rather than occupation). At the end of this entry is the source.

Mass media
In current use of “insurgency” is distinct from terrorism as in “under threat from insurgents and terrorists.” Insurgency has come into frequent use during 2003 through its incorrect use by Western politicians and English speaking mainstream media to describe those in resistance to the occupation and suffering in Iraq. This is an incorrect use of the term “insurgency” whose aim is the overthrow of a constituted government, whereas prior to April 21st 2005 and since March 20th 2003, the country was directly ruled by appointees of the occupation US miltary government of Iraq, having no constituted government. As of 2005, the term is more accurately used to signify the rebellion against the Iraq interim government. See Iraqi insurgency for more on the Iraq insurgents. However, there an open question about whether an country under military occupation can be considered to have either a constituted government or to be capable of conducting free and fair democratic elections. Outside of corporate media, the same force is described as the "legitimate Iraqi resistance" which is fighting against the occupation forces and its proxy government, which during the State of War entered into on March 20th 2003 upon the invasion of Iraq, can not be considered an insurgency. Indeed this "right of resistance" is enshrined in law by the Third Geneva Convention, Article 4 along with Additional Protocol I, Articles 43, 44 and 48 provide for the right of resistance and self-defense against invasion.

The Age of Treason

Every historical period must have an appellation, a title that quickly recalls the nature of the times, that defines the era. Ours is no exception.

Many have been calling it the "Information Age," which suffices to represent the internet explosion with its abundant access to news and knowledge, including the notorious and much maligned "blog." But perhaps it would be better remembered as the Age of Treason—an age in which men who reside under the same sovereign roof, live by the same set of rules, hold the door against the same threats of chaos and destruction, are eager to sell out those who have left our shores to defend the homeland—eager to inflame the enemy by exposing to a corrupt world our fighting men, who are simply doing their duty; eager to give up our secrets and loosen every lip in an apparent effort to undermine the nation; eager to give aid to the enemy and discomfort to our friends; eager to manufacture news in order to create an atmosphere of global distrust.

It is a time of traitors, led by activist-journalists who believe they are citizens of the world first, despite the fact that their very subsistence—sometimes existence—depends on the one nation to which they owe their allegiance, if but only for their freedom of expression, which they have perverted to such a degree that it has allowed them to become turncoats with impunity.

Let the history writing begin, covering all manner of treason, from the beatnik radicals in the late Fifties, to "Hanoi Jane" Fonda and "Deep Throat" Mark Felt, to John "American Taliban" Walker, to a superscripted Dan Rather and the conspiracy to put one John "F'n" Kerry into the White House, to the recent toilet bowl-challenged Newsweek report that incited riots ... and now, Time magazine, which has stolen "a secret interrogation log from Guantanamo" and published it, bringing to the world's attention what should always remain a military matter, the necessary evils of interrogation.

This is an obvious and shameless effort to stir up a whole new batch of Abu Ghraib-style gruel. Never mind that our country is at war. Never mind that such reports exacerbate an already difficult situation and serve to put our troops more deeply in harm's way. Never mind that the men and women who are away from family and country to fight for liberty abroad have been putting up with this sort of garbage since the War Against Terrorism began. The traitorous scum at Time couldn't care less.

Naturally, in reaction to this "revelation," the Pentagon came to the defense of the military, which is responsible for the dirty work that the average citizen neither wants to know about nor experience. Congress was quick to respond also, but instead of thanking God and the military for being shielded from the tough stuff, many of our leaders condemned America. One of them, Sen. Chuck Hagel (Nebraska), a nominal Republican, whined like a liberal:
It's not at all within the standards of who we are as a civilized people, what our laws are. If in fact we are treating prisoners this way, it's not only wrong, it's dangerous and very dumb and very shortsighted … This is not how you win the people of the world over to our side, especially the Muslim world.
Thanks for defining that for us, Chuck. This war is not about stopping terrorism and killing terrorists, it's about turning them into our friends. Well now we know! Next time the troops need more weaponry, what say we spend that money on new Korans and flower baskets?

You don't even need to ask how the Democrats are dealing with this info—just more of the same. They are also working hard at pulling other Republicans over to their side: Sen. Mel Martinez (Florida) has now joined Democrat Sen. Joseph Biden (Delaware) in calling for the shutdown of Gitmo (another sign that we need to call for a complete overthrow of the GOP, replacing their leaders with men who don't need Viagra to do their jobs).

The Bush administration is embattled on this issue, says the chairman of the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee, Republican Duncan Hunter (California, 52nd District), and may soon come to agree that Gitmo must go, not because it is no longer useful, but because it has been so vilified that it may be more trouble than it is worth. The military is being forced to come up with some other way to deal with wartime detainees—always useful for extracting information that can help us win the war and save the lives of our troops—while avoiding the relentless interventionism of the liberal media.

In this Age of Treason, there is no middle ground. One is either a patriot or a traitor. One is either on the side of America or on the side of the terrorists. We had better pray, and pray fervently, that patriotism wins the day, else we will be instead praying against a horde of barbarians who have compromised our every last border and sent us into a state of lawlessness. If such a day comes, true Americans will not forget the traitors who got us there.

Dick Durbin Wants Us To Lose and Our Boys and Girls To Die At The Hands of Terrorists

Dick Durbin, a US Senator, has taken to giving comfort to our enemy, the jihad terrorists, by being an advocate for those held in Gitmo in his public speeches, and thereby providing fodder for its spin organization, Al Jezeera, to again tell Muslims around the world what terrible people the Americans are. Look, even our own US Senators denounce us. If, as a result of his actions, he helps increase our enemy's ranks in time of war, and we do not consider that a treasonous act, would reasonable people amongst us at least consider it seditious? Note: Sedition is a crime, by definition, not a capital crime, but a crime nonetheless, and I believe we should call for the arrest and indictment of this man for his crime.

Heroes

Today we were talking about who we consider our "heroes." My husband named several people--all military heroes. Some brave POWs, some brave for other reasons. There are a couple of people I consider heroes who are not in our military, but not many.

My heroes, too, have always been the brave men and women who are willing to sacrifice civilized life and submit to training that prepares them to protect the rest of us. This training forces them to live and fight in a base, instinctual, and animalistic state. Their personal sacrifice to do this allows the rest of us to be spared from living in that same state under the control of our enemies: people who would harm or kill us. If these brave sailors, soldiers, and marines were not willing volunteers, we would either have to take their place fighting for our own survival or surrender to the bad guys. There's no other option.

No matter what, the terrorists will either divide us and conquer us, or we will stick together and prevail together. Right now, it's not looking so good for the latter. But I still have hope.

How do these comments not aid and abet the enemy?

Now we have members of the US Congress and the US Senate making statements against our own military's treatment of those being held for questioning in Gitmo Bay. Let's get this straight: No one has died at Gitmo and hundreds of thousands did die in concentration camps and gulags. Any comparison could not be an accurate comparison.

Their comments are outrageous, murderous, and are clearly aiding and abetting our enemy in the time of War! I ask you, "What's wrong with us?? Why in God's name are we willing to sacrifice the future of our Nation for the sake of popularity elsewhere in the world? How could any American position himself in a way that would harm or jeopardize his Nation (and those fighting to keep us free) like these so-called patriots we elected are doing?"

I think DE Senator Joe Biden, for instance, instead of leveling criticism at those who are in uniform protecting him, might consider offering an ideal location for a replacement facility in his great State of Delaware--if he's really serious about closing Gitmo. Delaware residents will love it. There will be no NIMBY mentality in Delaware. They will open their homes for their "guests." Biden can begin a "Take a terrorist home for Thanksgiving" plan. The jihadists will love breaking bread with us on our special Thanksgiving holiday.

I don't think any of those elected officials running at the mouth are serious about closing the Gitmo Camp. I DO think they all are simply willing to sacrifice some of our soldiers', sailors' and marines' lives for the sake of their own political careers. Again, "sacrifice American lives for the sake of their own political careers." Nice guys, huh?

And as I think about it, we certainly must be insane for providing these captives in Gitmo with a copy of the very book they use to justify killing us (Infidels!) when they are sitting around with nothing to do but plot, and study, and get worked up about how superior they and their version of the Muslim religion is. They are musing daily on the idea of how they will be rewarded in Heaven when they kill as many of us as they can. On second thought, we must be absolutely insane--by any measure of logic! To what end would we institute the idea of distributing for free this book to our captives? Do we hope they will "like us" "like us" for giving them their holy books of death and evil?

They have already said they will not. We cannot change their opinion of us with any action we take. We can only influence our own opinions and if we insist on believing otherwise, we are certainly the fools they believe us to be. Niceness--sorry folks--only makes us less trouble to kill. It doesn't inspire empathy for us among our enemy, the jihadist. Their die was cast the day they signed up for jihad. They know it and they accept it. We seem to think they might change their minds. Don't you see how silly and naive that sounds?

Our forefathers must be turning over in their graves witnessing us trash the society they so lovingly put in our care. None of them could imagine we would be so self-destructive and filled with so much self-hatred. Our enemies are heavily invested in our Country. Now they are influencing our system of government, and changing the basic premises we were founded upon. We've begun to attack ourselves in public and on the world stage over every value and belief we hold, and we tell the world we are but terrible people.

We fight among ourselves over religious freedom--the very reason we began this Country in the first place. (BTW, it was freedom OF religion not FROM religion We never wanted to erase every mention of religion from our public discourse.)

We act as though we don't know we are being divided publicly and selfishly. Historically, the next step is to become conquered. Just wait. With no turnaround in our actions, we will surely be answering to someone else before long. We will be sitting on our rugs and facing Mecca a couple of times a day, and we will be governed by someone like King Saudi (the man with two faces) or Saddam or Osama or Kim or al Zarqawi. And let's just see how fair our new government will be if we disagree with the way things are going. They will erupt in laughter over a Constitution, or a Patriot Act or a Bill of Rights. You, however, will probably never erupt in laughter again. Your new leaders probably won't put panties on your head to embarrass you. It will be much worse--guaranteed. You only have to look at their pasts for an idea of what they'll do in the future. (Why does the picture of mass graves in Iraq and beheaded Americans come to mind just now?) Well, all, sweet dreams and just BE NICE to your enemies, no matter what! They might just try to emulate you. And I know how much you're counting on that.

Bothered and Bewildered--The Case For Active Adult Communities. Or Why We're Going To Hell In A Handbasket

There's something so disturbing about the direction society is taking. Michael Jackson is free to sleep with little boys again, a young honor student from Alabama goes on a trip to Aruba and it looks like she's probably winding up dead because she didn't want to do what her date wanted her to do. Young people walk down the street wearing t-shirts with the words on it, "F is for F___" only there are no blanks on the shirt. My stomach turns when I hear these stories. I'm sad for us all. There is no standard that is accepted for proper social behavior. There is no standard that values respect for self or for those around them. There is no sense of value for our future above "stuff."

I understand why people over 55 are flocking to Active Adult Communities--there they can function in a society where values and beliefs are commonly understood. Adult men don't live in places called Neverland and sleep with young boys in Active Adult Communities. People don't blow up other people with bombs because of differences in religion. They don't just talk about tolerance. The majority doesn't have to tolerate the obnoxious vocal minority's every rude act and whim--they don't have to deal with those who hold hostage the principles the majority holds dear. The proverbial tail doesn't wag the dog in Active Adult Communities. There is order. Everyone there was raised in a time when life was precious, honor supreme, kindness a valued virtue, manners weren't outdated, consideration was the norm, and decisions were made by a vote of everyone who wanted to be counted in. The side with the most votes ruled. It's so simple, yet lost to this generation.

God help them when they reap what they are sowing today: selfishness, pleasure at the expense of others, winning at any price, a religion worshiping money above all else, and a strong aversion to any mention of traditional religion or God, friends for gain (it's using people and is called networking), perversion in the media--its content, thoughts, and its role models. Men want to marry men, women want to marry women. We think it's a good idea to kill some people in order to make other people's lives better. Why not? We know what's right. If it benefits us, we should do it. Never mind those who pay the price for our decisions or what the long term consequences might be. People make decisions based on feelings not any particular set of guidelines. Society cannot survive this chaos. History shows that societies thrive under systems of order and fail under chaos. It's the same old song evidenced by the latest headlines and with a different beat. But it's still the same old song. And our days are numbered if we don't wake up and smell the coffee soon.
