What the 'Devil' Is Chavez Doing?

Have you been hearing all the hoopla about Chavez and his antics in NYC? Well, just read Rangel, Pelosi, and Fattah's comments below. Others including Chuck Schumer have made similar remarks publicly too.
It's almost worth allowing the lying Chavez loose in the Big Apple in order to hear all the Dems rush to heartily support our Country and our President--even if it's under the, "We can trash him all we want, but you can't come into our house and trash our President" rules.
Fattah speaks with forked-tongue. He made an oil deal with the devil Chavez last winter to receive 50 million gallons at reduced rates for the poor in Philadelphia.
Do the Dems have ANY street cred? They are soooo convincing in their admiration for our President in today's media. They were equally convincing over the past couple of years saying the exact same things that Chavez has been quoted saying.
Granted Chavez wants to start a US revolution of the disenfranchised in order to undermine the US government--as if it's never been run in the hot, hot, hot, Venezuelan way. The kind of way where you can rescind a coup against your administration from inside a tank, and where a third of your population is ten times needier than Americans in Harlem in the winter.
If this ruski-shirted girly man will:
.travel around the world with a purpose of bonding with the leaders of Cuba, Syria, North Korea, Russia, China, and Iran to lobby for a UN seat, and then
.come into our Country and behave like an arrogant teenager on crack who wants to rile the population against its President, and,
.if the Democrats who have never demonstrated anything but dislike for our President, are falling over themselves to leave as much distance as possible between themselves and the verbose Chavez,
you have to take the situation seriously. Moreover, the Democrats are apparently scared sh**less. Could the public think that they are as wacko as Hugo? Could voters be thinking so this close to mid-term election time? Whoo Hoo! Short leap for a voter who's watching even a little TV.

Rangel to Chavez: 'You Don't Condemn My President'

(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.), in response to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's comments about President Bush Wednesday, said he is personally offended.
During a speech before the U.N. General Assembly, Chavez said "the devil himself is right in the house," referring to President Bush, who spoke before the world body a day earlier. "Yesterday the devil came here - right here, right here - and it smells of sulfur still today," Chavez added.
But Rangel said neither Chavez nor any other president can come to the United States "and think because we have a problem with our president" that they can denigrate the president and Americans will not be offended.
"You don't come into my country, you don't come into my congressional district, and you don't condemn my president. If there's any criticism of President Bush, it should be restricted to Americans - whether we voted for him or not," Rangel said.
Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) also condemned Chavez's comments at a press conference Thursday.
"Hugo Chavez fancies himself a modern day Simon Bolivar but all he is an everyday thug," said Pelosi, referring to Bolivar, who led the fight for independence against Spanish rule in several South American countries during the early century.
Hugo Chavez abused the privilege that he had, speaking at the United Nations," said Pelosi, adding that Chavez "demeaned himself and he demeaned Venezuela."
"The statements of President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela at the United Nations in New York yesterday were intemperate and inappropriate," said Rep. Chaka Fattah in a statement.
"His differences with United States policies are well-known, and the United Nations is a forum for airing such policy concerns. But his personal attacks and ridicule directed at the President of the United States are unacceptable," said Fattah.

Why do religious leaders and followers participate in and support blatant evil?
History is replete with examples of religious leaders and followers advocating, supporting, and participating in blatant evil. Regardless of attempts to shift or deny blame, history clearly records the widespread crimes of Christianity. Whether we're talking about the abominations of the Inquisition, Crusades, the greed and genocide of colonizers, slavery in the Americas, or the Bush administration's recent deeds and results, Christianity has always spawned great evil. The deeds of many Muslims and the state of Israel are also prime examples.
The paradox of adherents who speak of peace and good deeds contrasted with leaders and willing cohorts knowingly using religion for evil keeps the cycle of violence spinning through time. Why does religion seem to represent good while always serving as a constant source of deception, conflict, and the chosen tool of great deceivers? The answer is simple. The combination of faith and religion is a strong delusion purposely designed to affect one's ability to reason clearly. Regardless of the current pope's duplicitous talk about reason, faith and religion are the opposite of truth, wisdom, and justice and completely incompatible with logic.
Religion, like politics and money, creates a spiritual, conceptual, and karmic endless loop. By their very nature, they always create opponents and losers which leads to a never ending cycle of losers striving to become winners again, ad infinitum. This purposeful logic trap always creates myriad sources of conflict and injustice, regardless of often-stated ideals, which are always diluted by ignorance and delusion. The only way to stop the cycle is to convert or kill off all opponents or to end the systems and concepts that drive it.
Think it through, would the Creator of all knowledge and wisdom insist that you remain ignorant by simply believing what you have been told by obviously duplicitous religious founders and leaders? Would a compassionate Creator want you to participate in a system that guarantees injustice and suffering to your fellow souls? Isn’t it far more likely that religion is a tool of greedy men seeking to profit from the ignorance of followers and the strife it constantly foments? When you mix religion with the equally destructive delusions of money and politics, injustice, chaos, and the profits they generate are guaranteed.

As for your post, Chavez is a nut also! LOL What the hell right does he have to critique anyone in this country when HIS own country is a mess! Maybe he should sweep his own front steps as my mothers says, before he worries about his neighbors!
SSH, Say what?! You have so many issues, I don't know where to start. But, the only way to end an evil cycle is not to convert nor kill off all the opposition to a religion or philosophy. A democracy doesn't do that. A democracy allows for differing opinions and differing value systems. In a best case scenerio, it does set down rules in order to create order. We have that in the USA. Otherwise, the opposition to our President and the Republican Party would have to be killed off or converted. Or our President and his party would. We don't do that. We allow both parties to present their platforms, promises, and ideas to the public. The voting public (citizens, hooray!) can then vote to decide which candidate best represents his or her own interests during his or her term of service. We don't have coups, in this country, in case you missed it. We don't round up and behead people we don't agree with, in case you missed that, too. We don't have to like everyone, but we do have to behave in a civilized manner, or there are legal consequences for us. If we lose an election, we bide our time until the next one comes along and hope there are enough people who want the same changes we do. If there are, change occurs. If there aren't, no change occurs. It's a wonderful system. It's never been duplicated to my knowledge and it certainly appears that most of the world would like to live here under such a fair government. That being the case, how bad could it be?
Chavez thinks our citizens are like his - and that our leaders are like him. He couldn't be more wrong. Our leaders behave in a civilized manner--we have a system to hear grievences (Go google how a bill becomes a law.) And we follow it, whether we like it or not--and whether it suits our goals or not. Chavez doesn't. He's not civilized by our standards and neither are the Islamo Fascists. They act completely out of emotional desires and without regard for at least half of their population. (Ever see a woman or a little girl anywhere in an Islamic "demonstration?" )
They respect no man and no law. They want their arbitrary and capricious religion to be the law of their land and they want to murder those who believe anything but Sharia law. When you see this happening to a country (like France), you know you are seeing the beginning of the end of that country as we've always known it.
You keep mixing up religion with government and good, evil and peace. There are so many inaccurate assumptions, your logic just isn't coherent. We are not fighting this war in Iraq or against Islamic terrorists as "Christians" - we are fighting to preserve individual rights in a democracy--it's not a Christian democracy in the middle east, it's an Islamic democracy.
I appreciate your passion, but in an effort to not be taken in by those in power, you have fallen into a state of deception of self. Faith and religion are not the opposite of reason and truth. They not only coexist beautifully, they make necessary partners. That you expect to become a victim of a system as fair as a democracy or of Christianity which is pretty much "live and let live" and "do unto others what you would have them do unto you" and "grace through faith" is confounding. None of those things would harm you or try to change you.

Yes I agree completely! The prob with our society is we spend WAY to much time worrying about others and not enough worrying about ourselves. On that note... SSH believes he is THE missiah, when you say he has a lot of issues... you could not be more right! LMAO
