Fred Thompson Should Throw His Hat In The Ring Whenever He Wants: Pundits should stop advising Fred Thompson where and when to declare his interest in the Presidency in 2008. Commentators have done enough damage to those already running. They just can't wait to get their hands on fresh meat... the future of our Country be damned....
Nancy Pelosi Should Be Sent to Jail For Bungling World Affairs: She went in defiance of her government (as did the others who followed her), she undermined efforts of our Commander In Chief, the Coalition Forces in Iraq, our Secretary of State, and the entire country of Israel -- as a starting point. Maybe Israel could take legal action against Pelosi and the USA?
She called herself "an adult" regarding her unprecedented bungling foray into international affairs. She appointed herself "negotiator for Israel?" There has to be a name for her actions somewhere between insubordination and treason and there has to be repercussions to go with that name!
An adult approach? Hardly. She'd need to stop her "woman of a certain age" version of the "Charlies's Angels" walk and talk to be mistaken for an adult.
This woman's behavior needs an investigation! Hanoi Jane's, oops, I mean Damascus Nan's--consorting with those responsible for the death of American military and civilians creatin' a huge cinder block in your mind's eye? Aye Carumba! Only Jimmy Carter could love this stuff .... see Here and Here.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi offered an excellent demonstration yesterday of why members of Congress should not attempt to supplant the secretary of state when traveling abroad. After a meeting with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad in Damascus, Ms. Pelosi announced that she had delivered a message from Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that "Israel was ready to engage in peace talks" with Syria.
The Fair Tax Is Fairer After All: Let's give this Fair Tax a further look. I originally didn't realize that this is a consumption tax rather than an amended flat tax allowing fewer deductions. I read it and loved it. Just give it a few moments.

No More War On Terror!: You might think you fell asleep for a hundred years and missed the rest of terrorism in the world, but, alas!, not so. It's simply the PC Democrats again playing with our "shoulds" and our lingo. We still have a Global War on Terrorism, we just can't call it that on the 2008 Defense Budget because the Democrats don't "like" the phrase.
From the article: The “global war on terror,” a phrase first used by President Bush shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the U.S., should not be used, according to the memo. Also banned is the phrase the “long war,” which military officials began using last year as a way of acknowledging that military operations against terrorist states and organizations would not be wrapped up in a few years.

Just Trust Yourself: If you think you are being hookwinked by both the leftist media and those from both political parties who have everything to gain by maintaining the "status quo," you are among the legions of those who KNOW the polls represent really not that much..... Simply, the difference is that those who accumulate the most dollars in their campaign war chests owe the most "favors" to the most people if and when they win. That's it. Is it a good thing or bad thing? It really depends on the candidate's character and only time can tell whether it'll be a good or bad thing.
The real majority actually wants its government to close our borders to all illegal aliens. The real majority does not describe common sense conservative (small c) values as "radical right wing." The real majority is NOT looking for a change in the laws on the books today--the real majority just wants our country's current laws enforced. The term "hate crime" in unnecessary in our lawbooks. A crime is a crime is a crime. The punishment is the punishment is the punishment.
The real majority does not want to take In God We Trust off of our currency, or to erase all religious references from our history. The real majority does not want to change our elementary or high school text books to reflect any new "agenda" based on anything other than historical academics.
The real majority wants the coalition to WIN the War Against Terror, to control our ports ourselves, to require that our corporations act in the national interest before their own interests, and the real majority wants society to return to the values that are under siege by the "radical left." You know, the place where you know right from wrong by the facts of the circumstance; the place where decisions are made with intellect instead of "feelings," that place where the fact that one person is "offended" by another is not the guide for making fair decisions.
Of course, you WILL find people who disagree with this definition of the real majority in the Country's, and, in fact, all "Western" Universities, in the membership of the "gay gestapo," amongst the ranks of radical political "believers" who walk together in "talking point" lock-step, those who expect you and me to pay their way (from illegal aliens and terrorists to the lazy and unmotivated), and among those who are uneducated or unable to think independently. These people are not really half of our population as propagandists contend and have every interest in your believing. Ask your neighbors and friends about each of these questions. See if they believe that these changes are in the interest of the quality of life in the future USA.
